  1. Excellent Pump 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jul 24th 2015

Just picked up the Bravo SUP 3 pump as a replacement for my original Wakooda pump that came with the SUP. It is an excellent pump and in my opinion superior to the original pump.

It has both an inflate and deflate port(my original pump had only inflate capabilities). It is smaller in diameter so it should pack easier. It is slightly taller and thus a little bit more comfortable to operate since you don't have to bend over as far. The handles are slightly wider and feel more sturdy than the original. The inflation hose threads onto the pump which seems more robust than the original cam lock design.

In my opinion the best feature is that it is dual action. It inflates on both the down and up stroke(you can disable this feature but I don't know why you would want to). Bottom line, you can fill your inflatable in half the time. I filled my inflatable SUP in 3 minutes to 12PSI. Keep in mind this was in the comfort of my air conditioned living room and not on the beach in the sun.
